Procedure on Telegram for Bot creation 1. Download Telegram app on your smartphone or PC. Then open it. 2. Go to Search Mode (depending on the device and the operating system, the search mode is different) Then type and search BotFather (is the "bot to rule them all" ). 3. Start a chat with BotFather and till now you can start creating your own bot. 4. To create a new "bot application" tap on /newbot link or type /newbot. Now you have to create a name and a username (this is the name that will be visualized by users) for your bot application. The Application will give you your bot link that will open a telegram chat and the access token that you will use to call the APIs 5. Next you will have to use the access token because it's the "Bot unique ID". Procedure on Telegram for channel creation 1. On the Conversation list tap/click on the button that allows you to open a new chat (it is different depending on the devices and on the OS) 2. Choose "Add channel". 3. Then fill every fields with your information and be sure to make the channel "public". At the end of the page you can see a field which contains "t.me/link" where you have to replace "link" with your channel name (this will be an information that you will have to add in the CMS) Add the bot as Channel admin 1. Enter in the "channel conversation" and tap on the name at the top. Then tap on the "Info" icon (or "Gear" icon, it depends on the devices and OS) 2. Now select the "Administrators" label and then "Add Administrator". Then search the name of the Bot you have previously created. 3. Now you have to choose the permissions to give to the new administrator and then you've done! Procedure on CMS 1. Login to your cms panel and open the "Social Connector" Module. 2. Choose Telegram (if you have other accounts connected before you must click "add" at the top right of the iframe) 3. Fill the information on the top with whatever you prefer and in the table below add the "token" and the "chat id"( formatted as follows: @chat_id ) 4. That's it, your bot has been connected to the CMS and it will publish on the chat declared in the "chat id" field 5. Now switch the account to "ON" and enable it for every channel you need by selecting the checkboxes.
