How to create a section

Let's see each field in the new section assuming that you are creating a subsection:

Channel: You don't need to specify the channel when you are creating a subsection because it is the same of its macrosection. Obvious you have to fill the channel when you are creating a macrosection.

Name: You should enter the section name. When you fill the name field, the "Tag Title", "og: title" and "twitter: title" fields are self-compiled like the field name. Obvious you can edit them after enter the name field.

External link: You can redirect the section to a different link and open it to a new browser tab. To do this, you have to check the External Link field and fill the "External Target URL" field:

External target URL: If you fill this field with a different URL, the section redirects to the link you entered.

Default layout: This combobox allow you to select the layout of the section.

Description, og:description, twitter:description: You can insert a meta description of the page, a description for facebook (og:description), or a twitter description. These descriptions will be used for Seo operations.

Additional keywords for section: To improve your SEO, you also have the option to add keywords

Image (Immagine): This field allows you to add a image of the section

Web paywall, Mobile paywall: You can set the section to be accessible only to some registered users. To do this you can set the paywall for the desktop and mobile version.

Add this section to google news sitemap: You can decide to add this section to google news sitemap.

Allow Search Engines to index this section: You can allow search engines to index the section..

Mode: There are three type of section: Standard, Hidden and Draft.

Standard mode allows the section to be accessed by everyone.

When you set Hidden mode, you allow the user to see the section and search engines to index it, but the content of the section will not be visible in site search results or in automatic widgets.

Conversely, when you set Draft mode, you do not allow the user to see the section, but only to who has access to the panel. Draft Mode does not allow Search Engines to index this section.

Refresh time: You can enable or disable the refresh of the section. Of default the page refresh each 2280 seconds, but you can customize it.

User permissions: You can give access to the section (for editing, publishing or deleting) to all panel users or enable it only for users who can edit all sections.
