Configure your platform

First step is about configuring your VirtualCms to enable it for generate the feed that will be provided to Facebook server.

Go to Settings > General Settings > Facebook Instant Articles, and switch it to ON.

Configure Facebook Side

To configure your Facebook Account, follow this guide.

Note that, at the moment, only selected facebook pages are elegible for Instant Articles. If you want more information you can contact facebook from this page.

Notes and specs:

• The instant articles feed url is: http://example.com/instantArticlesFeed.jsp.
  If your have multiple channels, each channel domain feed will provide only the articles coming from the channel, excluding articles from other channels. So you can have different feed for each of your Facebook page, related to a specific channel.
  
  
• You have to configure the default style of your instant articles. 
  Pay attention to the following fields:
  

  • ARTICLE HEAD > IDENTITY BAR : upload your logo

  • ARTICLE HEAD > ACCENT COLOR : choose the color for your "Like" button

  • ARTICLE BODY > INLINE LINK : choose the color of your links according to your site style
    
    
• You have to pass trough the Facebook approvation flow as described in the guide. If you encounter any problem, contact your VirtualCms support at supportocms@virtualcom.it

Configure Advertisement

You can provide up to 3 different banner positions, in form of banner iframes, that will be automatically placed in your Instant Articles.

To configure this banners, go to Banner > Facebook Instant Articles

Fill the form's fields to refer to the banner iframe that you would like to show, and press Save. You can provided from zero (no banner will be showed) to three banners (all the banner positions will be showed).
