FAQ - PDF
PDFs to be published on the VNP, must have the following characteristics:
• RGB color
• Resolution between 150 and 300 dpi
• All fonts embedded
• No vectorial elements
• No transparencies
• No crop marks
• No color tests
• All pages must have the same width and height (in px)
• The optimal file size of a single page is 1Mb
• The maximum file size of a single page is 1,5Mb
Pdfs have to be compliant to a naming convention, that indicates the date of publication: eg: yyyyMMdd_edition.pdf in case of one pdf containg the whole edition and yyyyMMdd_edition_pagenum.pdf in case of a pdf containing a single page.
If pdfs are placed in a folder, the latter has to be named following the same convention: eg: yyyyMMdd_edition.
If pdfs are placed in a folder and then zipped, then the zip file must following the same convention: eg: yyyyMMdd_edition.zip.
