The Reminder Module

Given the functionalities of the Reminder Module in the VPN Backend panel it is possible to schedule  the way to send automatic notifications to the end users in order to remind them to renew their current subscriptions with days of anticipation to their expiration or even after it is already expired.

The configuration of this option is very intuitive in the VPN Backend panel and with just a few simple steps it is possible to manage and schedule these reminders in a very efficient way.  The reminder module will send automatically all the notifications via email to all the list of current clients that meet the criteria of having a current temporal  or payment subscription nearly to expire. The objective of this module is that one of reminding the user to renew the current subscription even with the possibility of receiving a special discount or incentive to compel the user to perform the renewal.

Within the module it is possible to configure and customize the text information that should be sent via email to the users with the possibility of setting up a net regular price or a new discount price to encourage the user to renew the subscription. The greatest advantage of this module is to obtain the highest rate of users that will renew their subscription automatically due to the promotions, offers, special discounts that are received through the Reminders option.

Additionally, it is also possible to configure the actions that should be performed prior to the expiration of a subscription as:

1. Choosing the right type of On-line time subscription  to send the reminder to.
2. Choosing a single digital subscription to send the reminder to.
3. Configuring  when to send the reminder based on the remaining number of copies of an On-line credits subscription. 
4. Selecting  the number of days ahead to send the reminder prior the expiration.
5. Customizing the text body for every reminder that should be send, choosing the right subscription to propose.
6. Setting - up the new price to propose for the new product, while choosing the number of reminders to send for the product.
7. Possibility to save all the reminders configured for different products.

Marketing Strategies

Summing up all the advantages of using the reminders module in a simple way:

• The module allows to send multiple reminder notifications on a scheduled base for all the users  who have an active monthly subscription, setting up to 7  the number of days to receive the reminder notification prior the expiration of the subscription offering a standard/regular price for the same product.  

• The module allows to send multiple reminder notifications on a scheduled base for all the users  who have an annual subscription, setting up to 15  the number of days to receive the reminder notification prior the expiration of the subscription offering up to a 10% discount on the price for the same product.  

• The module allows to send multiple reminder notifications on a scheduled base for all the users  who have an On-line 10 credits subscription, proposing the renewal of the subscription at the same price when only 3 copies of the subscription are left.

• The module allows to send multiple reminder notifications on a scheduled base for all the users  who have an On-line 20 credits subscription, proposing the renewal of the subscription with up to 30% of discount from the standard price when only 5 copies of the subscription are left.

• The module allows to send multiple reminder notifications via email to all users on a scheduled base for all the users who have an active half-year subscription, 30, 20, 10 or 5  days before the subscription expiration proposing an annual subscription, with up to  50% discount.

As you can imagine the marketing strategies have no limits!

How to create a New reminder to inform an user of the upcoming expiration of his subscription?

• Go to the VPN Backend access panel
• Browse to the Products module

• Click on the clock icon

• In the Reminder module select the number of days when the reminder should be sent prior the expiration of the subscription.
• Choose the type of product for which you want to submit the offer / renewal.
• Insert the price of the product (regular /discount) price.
• Insert the message Title that would be displayed in the mail sent to the users.
• Click on the "Text Mail" and insert the text that should contain the body of the email.
• Save the changes

Is it possible to create more than just one reminder for a single product?

Sure,  you can configure for example that the same message reminder for a single type of product  is sent within  30 days, 20 days, 7 days or 2 days prior the  expiration. Simply repeat the procedure to create a reminder for each day in which you want to sent the new message.
