How to get the key to configure Google Maps on the Virtualcms

Create a new Project

Click on the projects link at the top to create a new project

Give the project a name

APIs for the projects

We need to enable different APIs , you can use the search field

Find the Maps Javascript API

Find the Maps Javascript API and enable it

Find the Places API

Find the Places API and enable it

Find the Geocoding API

Find the Geocoding API and enable it

Generate the API Key

Now generate the API key, Show the menu

Click to create credentials

Select API key

Reach the Virtualcms backoffice, click on the Settings Module. Open the General setting tab and paste the key. Then click on the save button

In order to use the Google Maps on Virtualcms, you need to register for a Maps API key with Google.

Virtualcms has default the API key shared by all customers.

You need to replace the Key with the new one, to avoid exceeding free usage limits per day.
