You can choose any page in your edition to be the cover page in all your previews

Newsstand configuration

Your newsstand is configured to give the best previews possible of your main titles.

Edition reader

If you click on one of the cover pages, you'll be redirected to the actual paper reader with the first page of the pdf that you have published as the cover page

Labels module

To change the cover page of all previews of an edition, login to the backend of your platform and go to the Labels module. Find your edition, by selecting title and date. Expand the entry and change the cover page from the "Cover Page Number" input and click on "Save cover"

If you've changed cover correctly, you'll see a preview of the new cover page, and you'll be prompted with a message of successful operation.

Go back to the newsstand and you'll see that your action has affected the various preview thumbnails of that edition.

Paywall

Click on the cover page you have just changed to read that edition, you'll see that the first page of the actual edition has not been affected. Nevertheless the paywall that appears after your free reading time is over, will show the new cover page.

You can decide what page to use as a preview thumbnail across all platforms (web and mobile).
You cannot decide the first page of the actual readable editions, those will always take the first page of the pdf you have published.
